Orion has expeditions to the Kimberley Coast, Arnhem Land, West Timor region, Papua New Guinea, Melanesia, the Coral Sea, Tasmania, New Zealand and Antarctica.
The year started with an epic voyage from New Zealand to the islands of Melanesia & the Solomons. Then Orion locates in Rabaul for several Papua New Guinea Islands & Highlands expeditions before heading south to Australian waters. From Cairns, Orion heads across the Top End to Darwin where it resumes the popular Kimberley Expeditions season.
In September the ship heads back to Papua New Guinea and the Coral Sea for several expeditions before sailing South to New Zealand and the Antarctic.
