Hi Eva, I can't begin to describe the sight on
Sydney Harbour on New Year's Eve, it was absolutely brilliant. If we had had to leave the following day we would have been more than satisfied. We had a ringside seat and the spectacle was absolutely breathtaking.
The ship is beautiful and all the staff excellent. It is the best holiday we have ever had. I don't know if you have been on
the Orion Cruise but we can thoroughly recommend it.
It was good that there were only 104 passengers because we virtually met everyone on board and it created a good friendly atmosphere. I will send you a photograph in the mail of us enjoying one of the fabulous meals on board. Thanks for all your help." Margaret S., Cairns, Australia (11 Jan 06)

Dear Sali, What a wonderful Orion Barrier Reef cruise! It was supposed to be a relaxing holiday for Gabi and me but it turned out to be quite a busy time because we wanted to participate in as many of the activities as possible and we are so pleased that we did.
We tried snorkling and kayaking and went for nature walks - just so informative. Met some nice people and the crew went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
There were only 47 pax, which was good because we had plenty of space - room to breathe. Steve Parish, the renowned nature photographer was a guest speaker and he was just brilliant.
Concerning you and Globenet Travel - we are really pleased that we went to the Internet and found you. We were initially going to deal with a local travel agent but they didn't seem all that helpful and you were just the opposite. We very much appreciated the fact that you put us on to the great offer of the two for one which meant that we were able to have a beautiful suite. We were very happy with the service you provided and will make sure we recommend you to familly and friends.
Anyway have attached photos of: Orion from Lizard Island - Returning to Orion by Zodiac from Frazer Island - Gabrielle in Orion Suite - Ian on Orion boat deck - approaching Middle Percy Island- Guided nature walk on Willis Islet ...." Ian B., Bribie Island, Australia (5 Dec 05)

Dear Zoe, the
Orion Timor cruise was great and the weather was perfect. Everything was so professional and spotless, even the engine room floor - I did a tour true! I went on the cruise to shed some kilo's but with Serge Dansereau as guest chef it was impossible as it was one gourmet after another...
Anyway I had plenty of walks on the shore expeditions which helped. I was particularly impressed with the Tiwi visit and the pearl farm - I can't believe how easy it is to find giant pearls but then.... Many thanks for sorting out the itinerary, much appreciated " Michelle, Perth, Australia (13 Oct 05)

Hi Sali, Just to let you know you were absolutely right about the
Orion - it is a cruise experience I'll never forget and great value when you add it all up... the beauty services (the BEST!!!) and bar costs were about the same as anywhere else, just some of the excursions were a bit pricy but what an experience! Thanks for your help and advice with our holiday" Suzy P., Australia (5 Oct 05)

Dear Gayle, The
Orion cruise was amazing - I liked King George River and Argyle the best excursion and we really enjoyed ourselves. They did a great job making everyone feel relaxed and happy. Their service level and attention to detail was first class with few exceptions. We had the Getaway crew on board so look out for us on TV!!! Again, thank you for recommending it to us," Mr and Mrs Ian S., Melbourne, Australia (28 Sep 05)

Hi Gayle, You were right, it was great! The service aboard
Orion could not be faulted, making everyone feel thoroughly spoiled. Dining, bar and housekeeping staff are Filipino and their genuine happiness and smiling faces was a refreshing pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble. Timor was a great experience and Rob the guest speaker did a terrific job - was a highlight for me. Many thanks Gayle. " Andy W., Sydney, Australia (26 Sep 05)

Kylie, The
Orion Kimberley cruise holiday was great we thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The service on the cruise was absolutely first class - even the entertainment with Hal & Jay although Shirley took out the honours with her operatic renditions!!!
I was very impressed with how polite and happy the crew were - a bit different to some I have been on. Anyway thanks for organising it all for us and the changes by email from the ship - you made it too easy." Caroline S., Alice Springs, Australia (20 Sep 05)

Hi Zoe, Our reef trip was fantastic but not long enough!! We loved it and would highly recommended the "
Orion" to anyone who wanted a truly five star adventure cruise. It is a fabulous ship and caused a sensation even at Hayman!" Ron H., NSW, Australia (18 Aug 05)

Hello Trisha, Thanks for your help in booking our recent
Orion Cruise! You were right with the cabin - #302 on Deck 3, the lowest level for passengers and a big $$$ saving. It was excellent in all respects, well furnished, large enough for the 2 of us and ample closet space, marble bathroom, 5 star treats plus a large window and blackout curtain.
The dining choices were excellent and the crew simply the best! Where has this ship been all our lives??? " Peter & Tosh R., Brisbane, Australia (18 Sep 05)

Hi Trisha, The
Orion provided a unique opprotunity to visit the best of Australian waters in the highest level of comfort, safety and service - no doubt.
The rates are not for everyone's budget but then they are not trying to be and it is very good value for what we got. Also we met many fellow passengers who were also enjoying an exclusive cruise around Aussie for a change. It was a fantastic experience and can thoroughly recommend it - can't wait to return" David S., Brisbane, Australia (10 Aug 05)
