• "Hi Tina, The holiday was really lovely and relaxing. We enjoyed the wedding on Daydream Island and were impressed with The Beach Club accommodation on Hamilton Island." Sandra P., Mount Gambier, Australia (3 May 05)

Heron Island
Click to enlarge• "Hello Elisabete, Our trip to Heron Island was great! It was my 3rd time there over 15 yrs, and I still would return. We saw turtles hatching and racing for the surf.... Attached is a pic." Fred C., Oregon, USA (3 May 05)

• "Hi Sali, Back from our holiday and had a great time. The Hamilton Island resort was great. Although the furniture etc is a bit dated the unit itself has sufficient space and was clean and tidy and met our needs. After looking at Daydream and South Molle on the way over I am pleased that we chose Hamilton - I think it suited all of our needs better and proved to be a very child friendly environment - the kids loved it. Thanks for all your help on this. " Michelle C., Auckland, New Zealand (3 May 05)

• "Hello Sali, We had a wonderful time. We very much liked Silky Oaks - and we LOVED Lizard Island. At Lizard Island our room was lovely, the staff was wonderful, the food was really special and the island is a slice of heaven. For the money - Lizard Island is our preference. Both Silky Oaks and Lizard Island are unique and luxurious - but for the money - we thought the amenities, the physical plant of the resort itself and the climate is more enjoyable at Lizard Island. We did enjoy the variety, however.

At Silky Oaks they did upgrade us - on our arrival - to a River House... same as the tree houses but with a view of the river. We enjoyed some of the other guests at Silky Oaks and they had a very nice menu as well. They also presented us with champagne and fruit in our room in both resorts - so, we were definitely treated well. We are very glad we did not miss the Great Barrier Reef. The combination of the Reef and the Resort at Lizard Island - is something we hope to someday experience again.

The drivers for the car service were also very pleasant and informative. That service is something we would recommend. We had no travel or itinerary issues. It was an all around wonderful, memorable trip. Thanks so much for your help and insights." Mara C., Cleveland, USA (3 May 05)

• "Dear Zoe, Everything went off like clockwork. Weather was great, Brampton Island super and we are already recommending B as a perfect couples getaway. It proved very expensive getting from Brampton to the outer reef - $340 per person since a plane flight to Hamilton was required.

Thank you for getting us out of a spot when Virgin dumped our original flight. You then proceeded to save us $600 on the Brampton stay! Attached pictures show Carlisle Island across the channel next to Brampton " Ed and Gill D., Arcadia, Australia (2 May 05)

• "Hi Dinah, Hamilton Island was great. Thanks for your help in booking this. We had a great time, the pick-up was perfect and the stay excellent. Here's a picture of us at the lookout on One Tree Hill. As you can see everyone was having a good time. I've also included a picture of the girls - they enjoyed it immensely. • "Hi Gayle, The trip was just fantastic!! We loved it and would highly recommended the "Pacific Sun" to anyone who want a fun time. If you are after five star then this is not the ship for you. Just great fun, beautiful staff, always happy to help and the theme nights are something else. I would suggest that you advise anyone going on the ship to organise fancy dress gear. Was well worth the extra suitcase of gear. Thanks for you help with booking the cruise and we will be in contact again to book 'the sun part 2'. Regards" Ron H., NSW, Australia (18 Apr 05)

• "Hi Sali, We had an awesome time and Dunk Island was lovely, great resort and the food was excellent. Unfortunately it rained most days which was a bummer but it was warm and relaxing and the pool was pretty good too as was the sea, and no stingers!! The air transfer was good too (although a little scary when not used to small planes!!). Thanks again and we will definitely use you again in the future!!!" Kirsty & Rod G., Auckland, NZ (19 Apr 05)

• "Hi Sali, Jon and I had a wonderful time in Brampton Island. The room was lovely, the food was great and nothing had really changed since we were there last four years ago. We found they didn't restock room supplies very well and the jet ski tour was way overpriced, but we noted these things on their feedback form when we left. We would love to go back there again one day. The service you provided has been fantastic so... Thanks again for your help. " Melanie H., Brisbane, Australia (19 Apr 05)

• "Zoe, What a sensational few days at Dunk Island! It was a truly memorable 36th Wedding Anniversary. Judie and I have stayed at many beautiful resorts around the world. The difference at Dunk Island Resort is the staff. Not a day went by without us feeling we were very special and could easily have been the only guests.

We had such a splendid celebration on arrival – chilled champers etc that we missed dinner. The staff came to check on us and then brought two gourmet dinners to our suite. One of the chefs even baked an anniversary cake for us. It would be difficult to beat the setting of the Bayview Suites with beautiful Brammo Bay just metres away.

The classic ‘5 star’ accommodation featured beautiful ‘rainforest to reef’ décor – just superb. You could not have chosen better for us. We will be eternally grateful and look forward to booking our next adventure with the Globenet team. Sincere thanks Zoe, for wonderful memories that will endure forever." Don and Judie A., Mystic Sands, North Queensland, Australia (15 Apr 05)

• "Tina, Many thanks for your assistance the Dunk Island experience was above and beyond all expectations. The Child Care was so fabulous that the children are still asking to go to 'kids club' everyday since we left. Many thanks to you for your help!" Paula Mc., Detroit, USA (13 Apr 05)

• "Dear Kylie, We just returned for our amazing trip to Australia, Thank you so much for you excellent help. The entire trip was perfect/ We loved the Outrigger in Palm Cove!!!! It would have been great to stay there a week!!!

Due to poor weather conditions, the Sounds of Silence evening in Uluru was cancelled and the desk ask me to contact you to credit our credit card for that evening's dinner. Otherwise everything was amazing!!! We did choose to see the Aboriginal dinner show in Cairns when we got there and I would not recommend it as it was a bit touristy, unlike our tour you recommended with the Aboriginal guide in Uluru our first day there (ANANGU ). That trip was excellent and we all learned so much!

For me the highlight was holding a koala in Kuranda! OH my goodness!!! The boys went scuba diving at the GBR and were so thrilled. The girls loved the markets at Kuranda. We all learned to play the didgeridoo and one is on the way to us. We will always remember our trip the Australia! Everyone was so nice and helpful. You should be so proud of your homeland! I don't know how to thank you enough for helping me put together a trip that we will cherish for all of our lives.

We hope to someday return and will recommend to our friends to come and to get in touch with you to help them plan their trips. We have so many great photos, I will see if I can send you a few!!! Thank you again, I will recommend you to everyone I know!!! We loved everything that you suggested and all of the hotels you picked. It was a great trip. I sure wish I could have brought home a Koala! We will forever remember our amazing trip to Australia!!!!

Thank you again for your excellent help in planning our itinerary. If you ever need a recommendation, please let me know! You're the best! If you ever come to Los Angeles and need some help please let me know. We would love to meet you." Renae J., Los Angeles, USA (13 Apr 05)

• "Hi Sali, Just a short note to say many thanks for your help on our Hamilton Island holiday and all the changing of times. It was most appreciated. We had a wonderful surprise when we arrived as we were given a free upgrade to theBeach Club, right on the ocean front. It was absolutely fabulous and made our stay. I will send you a photo when I can. My husband was energetic and we climbed the 3.5kms to the top of Passage Peak. Rained when we got to the top so I look really happy in the photo!! The staff at the hotel were very helpful and attentative. Put on a cocktail party for the guests every Friday night which was lovely. They couldnt do enough for you. Once again many thanks for all your help it was very relaxing and rejuvenating. Regards," Heather T., Perth, Australia (12 Apr 05)

• "To Whom It May Concern:, We just returned from a Reef Endeavor Cruise and wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed it. We boarded the ship on 14 March, 2005 and were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a "classical music" cruise. We had booked our trip a year ahead of time so had no idea that we would receive the added bonus of having wonderfully talented people performing for us.

Not only did we enjoy every performance, we also felt privileged to be able to watch and listen to the musicians as they practiced for their performances. We especially appreciated the piano performances by Tahu Matheson. What an incredibly gifted young man. The quintet "The Ecelectics" were a big hit with the audience during performances and during social times. We all enjoyed having the opportunity to chat with them and to share our love of music. This group was especially personable and we left the ship feeling as though we had made new friends. Kerry Vann, the operatic singer, had a marvelous voice and such a sweet personality.

We were surprised at how good the acoustics were and how well these talents were showcased. Thank you for providing this wonderful experience. There is nothing more beautiful than the ocean and classical music all in one place. We hope that you will continue to sponsor these cruises. If you do, be sure to let us know when." • "Hi Sali, The photo shows the fabulous Dunk Island which was a delight to revisit after 25 years of marriage and being our second visit since our honeymoon. Thanks again for all of your help. You made everything so much easier and looked after everything for me." Kerrie D., Normanhurst, Australia (7 Apr 05)

• "Hi Dinah, Firstly, thank you for organising our trip to Peppers Palm Bay and being so helpful at all times - I was so impressed by the level of service as well as the prices on offer and I will definitely use GlobeNet in the future. It was also great to have all the transfers organised by yourselves (I thought that would be something we would have to arrange).

Including the dinghy hire in the price was also a good idea as we had such a great day out. With regard to the resort, it was a fantastic location with great accommodation on the beach - totally relaxing and incredibly beautiful. Generally the staff were very helpful, and there was a good selection of services/tours/entertainments on offer to keep you amused. We've stayed in Peppers places before and will definitely stay in them again." Lucy M., Sydney, Australia (6 Apr 05)

• "Dear Zoe, We have a wonderful time at Hamilton Island and all the arrangements were fine. The weather at the time we went was very hot and humid. We would go again when it was a bit cooler, even the water in the pools was too warm at times. Please find attached 2 photo's of our boys Josh & Ryan. One is with the Reef View Hotel in the background and the other is when we went snorkelling at the Reef one day. One other thing, the drive was very long (as you had warned me of), I wouldn't be keen doing that again, would fly next time, thank goodness for Game Boys." Gary & Karen N., Brisbane, Australia (6 Apr 05)

• "Trisha, Thanx so much for helping us with our stay at Brampton Island... it truly was very memorable....awesome time, no hiccups at all...PERFECT." Chris & Leigh W., Sydney, Australia (4 Apr 05)

• "Hi Dinah, Well we had a wonderfull Easter! Club Med Lindeman is just fantastic! The room was great, (pool outside our door), The food was amazing, so much variety Yum!, the kids club is fantastic (if only my children did not suffer from separation problems!! just abit of yelling and tears when we droped them off!) But they have the best set up for kids, pools, trampoline, amazing playground, and offer lots of different activities tennis/golf lessons/ bush walks the list is endless. Amazing! Drop them off at 9am and pickup at 5pm then again at 6.30pm-8.30. All day to yourself!! (well maybe when my children get older we can have that!!)

Would totally recommend Club Med to any family wanting to escape! It offers the perfect formular for the perfect family holiday. Can't wait to try Club Med in another country!!!! And also the Bady's room that you mentioned was filled with baby food!! I was shocked, it had a variety of tin baby food, yogurts, cheeses, and all the equipment babies need! There was no need for me to have brought my own!! So overall it was the best holiday, So thank you Dinah for all you did to arrange the booking. You did a great job, and I will be contact next time I plan to travel!" Felicia D., Melbourne, Australia (4 Apr 05)

• "Dear Tina, Been back in New York now for a couple of weeks. Finally, back to normal. I wanted to thank you for your efficiency and professionalism. Our trip was perfect. Everything was just the way we like it. The Rydges Jamison was a beautiful hotel and the location was so convenient to everywhere we wanted to be. We appreciated your prompt attention when we had the snafu with Hertz. It turned out fine and they upgraded our rental for any inconvenience it had caused.

The Blue mountains were spectacular and the Hydro Majestic was truly THE place to stay. The only complaint would be the mecure @ sydney airport. That left something to be desired. The rooms were seedy and smelt like old tobacco, even though I asked for a non smoking room. The last night they put us above their bar and we heard the base from the speakers till very late.

Heron Island is a wonderful place and our diving in the great barrier reef was an experience to remember. John and I were used to booking everything ourselves so it really was a treat to "leave it all to someone else" and then having it turn out so nice, such a pleasure!!! Thank you again for everything and if I know of anyone travelling to that part of the world I will definitely give them your email address" Laura and John P., New York, USA (1 Apr 05)

• "Hi Sonia, Well, we made it home after a long flight from Darwin after enjoying ... (Ed: Read about their trip to the Shangri la Sydney, Heron island, Sunlander train, The Hibiscus Spa hotel Port Douglas, Sails in the Desert Hotel Ayers Rock, Alice Springs Resort and Holiday Inn Darwin here)... again many thanks." Ken T., London, UK (30 Mar 05)

• "Hi Tina, All I can say is that the accommodation you recommended me was amazing. The South Pacific Noosa Resort was the best place my wife and I have been. My new bride was so amazed at the place I had picked out for us. All I can say is that you made a good honeymoon, great. Thanks" Tim D., Sydney , Australia (29 Mar 05)

• "Hello Elisabete, Angsana Spa Resort was great and the manager sent us a bottle of sparkling wine yesterday for our anniversary - don't know how they knew but they did and it was a lovely touch." Bridgette N., Melbourne, Australia (29 Mar 05)

• "Hi Elisabete, We had a fantastic time and Peppers Palm Bay was awesome! The service was fantastic and we felt really relaxed and pampered. We loved it and are already planning our next trip back! Thanks for everything and for your help and assistance." Jane Q., Sydney, Australia (29 Mar 05)

• "Thanks Elisabete, We had a lovely break and would certainly go to Heron Island again. We found it to be very relaxing and casual with all the luxuries of the 'big' resorts. In respect of your service, we were very happy with all arrangements and travel plans. Everything went smoothly and exactly according to plan. That helped to make our stay so much more relaxing." Kate B., Brisbane, Australia (29 Mar 05)

• "Dear Sonia,We loved our trip to Austarlia and look forward to going back some day. We were treated ever so nicely everywhere we stayed and in the shops and restaurants we visited. We loved scuba diving at the reef, the ambiance and setting of the Silky Oaks Lodge, and Sydney!!! We loved the location of the Four Season's Hotel, the choice of staying at The Outrigger in Palm Cove (vs an island). All in all a great trip. Thank you for your guidance." Merle W., USA (16 Mar 05)

• "Zoe, My family raved about the trip. They loved all the locations they visited and loved their accomodations at the Hilton Melbourne, Dunk Island and Medina Grand Harbourside Sydney. Thanks so much for all your help. " Michael S., Chelmsford, USA (14 Mar 05)

• "Gayle, Once again the wonderful country of Australia was calling and I answered with another exciting journey... (Ed: Read about her trip to Sydney and Club Med Lindeman Island here)... Aloha," Dana D., Denver, USA (14 Mar 05)

• "Hi Zoe, The most memorable experience in Australia was the scuba diving in the Ribbon Reefs of the Coral Sea off the Nimrod Explorer! We saw several varieties of clown fish, cuddle fish and several lion fish! It was awesome! The Outrigger in Palm Cove was a delight! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made use of the lagoon nearly everyday

We really enjoyed Sydney, from Chinatown to the ferries and dining at Darling Harbor. The Wine and Beef Restaurant is highly recommended." Larry & Judy W., Atlanta, USA (12 Mar 05)

• "Hello Jean, I asked Eva for your email address so that I could tell you what a great employee you have. I have been dealing with Eva trying to organise a holiday to Thailand for my husband and I and she has been exceptional. I didn’t know her or your company and have previously used Flight Centre. I will definitely contact you guys for any future travel we plan. Eva has been so helpful and professional. Her nothing is a problem attitude is certainly a lovely change to a lot of companies you come across these days. I hope you pass this message on to her and thank her for a job well done. Kind Regards " Janell S., Sydney, Australia (8 Mar 05)

• "Dear Tina, We are now back from our really excellent holiday in Australia. I wish to apologise for bothering you about the hotel room in Sydney. At all events the room we ended up in was very nice. I cannot know for certain whether your intervention made any difference, but I guess it did. Thanks for taking the trouble.

The Reef Endeavour was a great success and I am glad you recommended we took the 4 day trip rather than the 3 day one. The ship was only one third full, so very relaxing. The hotels we chose together were almost all excellent.

The hotels for the stopovers were great and I would be delighted to stay in them both again. Our hotels in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne were very good, and elsewhere we were very happy with what we found. Our last day in Sydney was excellent - lunch at Doyles at Watsons Bay followed by Carmen at the Opera House. Whatn a finish! Apart from the incident at Sydney, only two problems were encountered. Our flight from Bangkok to London was delayed 24 hours - 4 of which were spent sweating on the aircraft while they tried to fix it. But BA put us up in a hotel for the day with meals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The people were wonderfully warm and helpful. The scenery was magnificent and offered us such interesting variety. The driving turned out to be very easy and the cars we got from Avis were excellent. We even stayed in budget! So I have to thank you very much for your assistance with this trip. If I hear of any one thinking of going downunder I will immediately given them your details. Best wishes" Alan P., Manchester, UK (7 Mar 05)
