Click to enlarge• "Hello Elisabete ! My sentiments exactly as Shannon wrote. We loved our 4-Point Sheraton in Sydney. The location, room, staff was perfect! Club Med Lindeman Island had more couples that I expected so we hung out mostly with the 18yr old - 26 yr old staff. They were fun playing pool with and having fun with the games and entertainment they give.

And yes, Melbourne. St. Kilda was a treat (I chime Shannon about the Bed and Breakfast - instead I would NOT listen to me and put people up instead at the Marque hotel in St. Kilda. It was similar to a W Hotel - very chic and not too bad of a price. St. Kilda had a lot of alternative clothing stores, great restaurants and bars.

The city itself we could have explored more but instead a friend of ours took us on a drive up the Great Ocean Road and we also took an excursion to see Kangas, Koalas and the Penquin Parade. We loved the animals/mammals! I do have to say that you made our travel EASY! It was wonderful having everything booked in advance and taken care of. You listened and knew exactly what we were looking for.

That is what vacation is about! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will definitely recommend you to other friends of mine who I'm encouraging to go to Oz. The next time I go, I want to see Perth! Click to enlarge• "Hey Tina, Well I finally told all my friends what a wonderful time we had. I guess I can share with you now. I am so glad I inquired about "that island" by Townsville!!!!

FABULOUS EVERYTHING. Our stay at Orpheus Island started grand right from the start. The upgraded suite was divine but the atmosphere is indescribable. Remember the problem trying to get those two nites at first. Well......it turned out that Ed and I were the ONLY two guest at the resort for the first 3 nites. Picture that!! I guess that says it all. We had undivided attention when we wanted it. That was the best part we were left alone and not bothered as one might think being the only guests on the island.

I also did not realize that the resort IS the only thing on the island. Oh by the way there are no lockers at Townsville. The option for luggage storage is their hanger. Fortunate for us (again) we were the only two going and returning on the seaplane. So we were able to take all our luggage. See they even catered to my worries.

The snorkling was the best at the coral gardens and the dive well....... I guess we have to go back to find Nemo. It had rained a couple of days prior so it was a bit cloudy. Next time it would be nice to know when the charter is running. Unfortunately it was not available to go to the outer reef.

The staff were tremendous at all the details. The chef was outstanding with all his presentations. All seven courses were a pleasure to watch especially their deliveries. Dining on the jetty was a first for us. Romantic as ever. Should I say anymore ??? I can go on!!! Even when we were invaded with 4 other guests the attention remained the same.

That truly IS paradise on earth, and Australia's best kept secret. I know it was safe for me to tell my tales here, but shhhhhhhh don't tell to many it will spoil the tranquility. So again thanks for all the time spent making our vacation the most memorable yet.!! We had to return for another dose of SNOW ...22*F brrrrrrr Take care Be safe. • "Hi Zoe ! I am not sure if you heard about our fiasco from your co-worker...we were at Heron Island in the middle of TWO cyclones!!! It was VERY disappointing, but, nothing you can do about it. As a result, we were unable to dive, snorkel, swim, fish...We managed to still have a good time-in spite of the weather! My husband was very grumpy that he lugged his dive bag all that way for nothing! Neither of us realized that it was the season for this kind of weather, so we were a little surprised at the weather, but, oh well!

Next time I think we will stay at Cairns and he can go out on the dive boat for a few days of diving. It was a little un-nerving to know that we were actually stuck on the island with no way off until the weather cleared. I wouldn't like to be in that position again-I would like to have options-just in case! Anyway-I would still recommend Heron Island...the staff is great and it is a beautiful place (except when the winds are 35-40 knots!). Thank you for all of your help-I really appreciate it! • "Hi Rene, The trip up to Brampton Island was great. Thank you for faxing over the confirmation information for the transfers. Since the weather didn't co-operate when we arrived we have to take a helicopter ride over to the island which was fantastic and then a small plane ride back which was incredible.

The staff at Brampton made our stay very enjoyable and the room and accommodations were top notch. Thank you very much. I'm not sure if you had anything to do with this but our room was upgraded, we had a bottle of sparkling wine and two 1 hour massages given to us when we arrived. It was great. • "Dear Gayle The Pacific Princess Cruise was fantastic - very relaxing and everything on board was of a high standard - food, entertainment, cabin etc. My aunt has been on a number of cruises and felt this was one of the best. • "Hi Gayle, Many thanks for your very efficient service and pleasant manner in handling our arrangements. We arrived on Heron Island just ahead of cyclonic conditions. Consequently there were no diving, reef or water activities and walking on the beach was an exfoliating experience! However, we still had fun and enjoyed our stay. We saw turtles hatching, lot's of Noddy Terns, Mutton birds and a variety of other interesting bird life.

At the end of our break conditions had significantly deteriorated and nothing was venturing out of Gladstone harbour, so we upgraded to a helicopter to get us off the island. However, visibility was so poor that the helicopters could not get through! Then around lunchtime we happened to be in the right place at the right moment when a helicopter made it to the island. So, with a just a few minutes notice, we climbed aboard with two others and made it to Gladstone in time to catch our scheduled flight home.

We had a great time, albeit not quite the intended experience. The island facilities are good and we were especially impressed by the new spa treatment and massage centre. Also, the staff on the Island were wonderful - the best we have experienced on several islands. Rest assured we shall use GlobeNet Travel next time we take a break. • "Hi Zoe, We are home safe and sound from Heron Island. For your own information and in our opinion, breakfasts were okay and we heard that from a lot of guests, lunches we found great and dinners also.

We were lucky enough to see baby turtles racing down the beach to the water after hatching. Got that on video plus some other big turtles out by the jetty. We had a fab dive and saw sharks, a mantaray and a turtle. That was the highlight. We met loads of nice tourists also and that made it a memorable holiday. Brampton Island Resort 
Click to enlarge• "Hello Zoe, Both Tania and I had a great holiday, thankfully the weather was fantastic. Brampton Island was a wonderful resort, which allowed us to relax, and also provided ample activities to enjoy when we felt like being a bit more active. I have stayed on Hamilton Island six times, and whilst I loved every visit their too, I would probably recommend Brampton to couples who just want to relax, and have everything provided for them.

Really the only decision you have to make on Brampton is what time you want to eat. There weren't any problems with any of the bookings you made for us, which always makes it easier to relax on your holiday, so thankyou very much for that. I must admit feeling a little anxious about all the bookings having made them over the Internet, so now I have a lot more faith.

One suggestion I do have is to strongly recommend to customers to pay the extra dollars and get the helicopter to and from Brampton Island. We travelled to the island by boat, and returned by helicopter, and would have preferred to use the helicopter both ways. Other people on the island said the same thing after taking the boat. We ended up taking the helicopter from Heron Island and it was the most amazing experience of my life! Absolutely out of this world! My apologies for the confusion as it all worked out brilliantly in the end.

I highly recommend Tangalooma Wild Dolphin resort, Moreton Island as feeding the dolphins was a great highlight and the resort was simple but very nice. Heron Island was just idyllic but not if you had a fobia against birds (which we didn't) - there were thousands on the island!! • "Dear Rene, The ship and cruise were more than I could hope for. The Super Star Leo was just sensational. The only problem was that it wasn't long enough. We did have a problem when we reached Brisbane however. We received a notice advising that as the Port of Brisbane is a restricted area, passengers would be taken to the Visitor's Centre at Fisherman Islands where taxis would be waiting to take us to the city centre which was approx 30-40 minutes away.

When we arrived at the Visitor's Centre, which consisted of 4 poles with a tarpaulin over the top, there were no taxis waiting and we had to wait in 40 degree heat while a person on a mobile organised taxis. We don't know who organised this, apparently the local authorities (whoever they are) were advised. Perhaps in future, it would be best for the buses to take the passengers to the city centre. We would have been quite happy to pay. As it was, we had to pay $30 to be taken to the nearest railway station where we could get a train to Surfers Paradise.

I know this is in no way any of your fault, but I thought you'd like to know what happened. We weren't very happy about it I can tell you, but at no time did it detract at all from the wonderful time we had aboard Superstar Leo. • "Hi Zoe, Thanks for planning our trip to Heron Island. We returned from our vacation on Friday the 13th. The kids were fabulous on the airplane and we had a wonderful time at Heron Island.

The birds were noisy, but they never kept us up awake. In fact, I liked the birds at night b/c if my baby cried, then I didn't feel like he was "disturbing" anyone because he sounds just like the birds!! Just FYI, the resort does get a little bit smelly from the bird droppings after it rains. That's just nature, but it wasn't horrible.

• "Hello Dan, As I mentioned in a previous email, I think the website is brilliant. I actually phoned the Grace Hotel to check their rate and it was much higher than the rate I got through your site. The booking process was nice and easy. The best thing about your service is that we don't have to pay in advance over the internet and run the risk of losing our money if we need to cancel. I still feel like I'm in some way dealing with the hotel.

I really like your selection of hotels but we're always looking for somewhere new and contemporary. In my search I found a cool hotel in Sydney called The Establishment. I saw it on the de Groots Best Hotels site. More hotels around the $250 a night price would be good. I know that you get your images from the hotel but I always like to see a decent picture of the room and the bathroom because you can always tell what sort of hotel it is...
