The Lodge
Bloomfield Lodge is nestled within the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, the largest stretch of tropical rainforest left in Australia. Set on the shores of the Coral Sea in Weary Bay, it offers a unique and relaxing way to experience this magical part of Australia.
The lodge has been carefully designed to blend into the beauty of the rainforest, while views out over the blue waters of Weary Bay are a reminder of its coastal location.
Accommodation - 17 rooms, Check in - 9.00 AM, Check out - 11 AM
With a maximum of just 34 guests, you can be assured of an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Natural timber cabins are located amidst lush gardens, blossoming with vibrant flowers and resounding with birdsong from the surrounding Daintree. All rooms are non-smoking.
Activities
While it's very easy to laze around and perhaps enjoy an aromatherapy massage, Bloomfield Lodge provides a great base to explore the local area. Enjoy a guided rainforest walk and Bloomfield river cruise (included in tariff), 4WD tours to local waterfalls, day trips by yacht to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkelling and fishing, and day tours to Cooktown, Roaring Meg Falls and Hope Island.
Dining
Meals at Bloomfield Lodge are exceptional. Fresh seafood, sumptuous steaks, tropical fruit and vegetables are skilfully prepared by the Bloomfield chef and served in the relaxed comfort of the open air dining room. Free seating with around 4-6 guests per table makes for very sociable mealtimes with many friendships formed over a gourmet dinner and free glasses of wine.

Getting There
Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities to Cairns. The 2hr journey by air & launch from Cairns to Bloomfield Lodge is in itself a thrilling experience. Courtesy car takes guests to the VIP lounge at the Hinterland Aviation terminal, adjacent to the International Airport.
Then follows a 30 minute scenic flight follows the dazzling Queensland coastline over the fringing reefs and tiny islands of the Coral Sea to their outback airstrip, then an escorted rainforest cruise down the Bloomfield River to the sea and across Weary Bay to a welcoming drink at Bloomfield Lodge.
Spa
Indulge in the serenity of the spa treatment room, where harmonious music and the scent of essential oils soothe you into a deep state of relaxation. Or, why not try a massage on the spa deck with stunning views of Weary Bay? Children
Children under 13 years are not catered for. Children 13 years and above, adult rates apply. Bookings of more than 2 children between the ages of 13 - 16 will not be accepted.

The Bloomfield Lodge honeymoon packages are available on request. A bottle of Australian Sparkling wine is provided on arrival.
