Getting There
Daily services operate from mainland Australian cities to airports at both Hamilton Island and Proserpine on the mainland. The Club Med launch transfer from Hamilton Island to Lindeman Island resort takes 30 mins. From Proserpine, a 30 mins coach or limousine trip connects with regular Shute Harbour launch transfers to the island taking 60 mins. Scenic seaplane or heli transfers directly from the airports to Lindeman Island Resort can also be arranged.
Golf
The nine-hole Lindeman Island golf course skims the cliff tops with stunning views over the Whitsunday passage. Guests can travel to the mainland for a round of golf at Laguna Whitsundays' 18 hole championship course with 15 minute scenic seaplane or heli transfers.
Children
Families are welcome. One of the great things about Lindeman Island Resort is that children have their own swimming pool and playground facilities.
Their kids' clubs cater for 2 to 17 year olds and their Baby Welcome package provides everything for your baby's comfort. Their "New Concept" Pyjamas Club provides evening care for 2 to 8 year olds but must be pre-booked. Connecting rooms can be pre-booked for families with children.
