Virgin Blue Airlines advises that Tullamarine Airport's South Terminal has reopened following prolonged closure today.
Virgin Blue flights to and from Melbourne will recommence from 8.00pm this evening.
Guests booked on flights to and from Melbourne today are urged to call the airline's Guest Contact Centre on toll free 13 6789.
Virgin Blue apologises for the disruption, which is outside of our control, and we are doing all possible to transfer people onto first available services to and from Melbourne.
The South Terminal section of Tullamarine was closed by Melbourne Airport and Emergency Services at 10.10am (EST) this morning after a number of people in the terminal reported unwell.
